First Sessions
First 4 Weeks or 4 Lessons
The first lesson is free.
What to bring?
You will need to wear tracksuit bottoms/leggings and a t-shirt.
Please bring water bottle
The club will provide Judo jacket and belt for the day.New members are fully insured for their first 4 weeks or 4 lessons.
The next three lessons are £5 each per child/adult.
After the initial 4 sessions, you will need to join the club and the British Judo Association (BJA) to continue training, as temporary cover expires.
All new members receive a free club T-shirt.
Judo kits can be purchased directly from the club. -
Annual Club Membership
First child: £20
Second child: £15
Additional family members: £10 eachBritish Judo Association (BJA) Licence and Insurance
Every player must have a valid BJA licence for insurance.
Current BJA costs (from October 2018):Adults: £40 (renewal £37)
Students: £29 (renewal £26)
Juniors under 16: £29 (renewal £26)
Ages 5–7: £22You can apply or renew online

Mat Fees (Training Sessions)
Players pay in advance for their chosen training night.
Example for one training night per week (e.g. Wednesdays):4 sessions in a month = 4 × £4 = £16
Additional family members training on the same night = 4 × £3 = £12
You can pay monthly or every 3 months.
Quarterly payment periods:
January–March
April–June
July–September
October–DecemberIf you pay for 3 months upfront, you’ll get £5 off the total.
Example: 3 months = £52 – £5 = £47 total.If you attend a second night in the week, pay in cash on the night:
First player: £3
Additional family members: £2 each
Holiday Periods
There is no monthly or quarterly payment during half-term breaks or in August.
During these times, only Wednesday sessions run, paid in cash on the night.Payment Policy
All mat fees must be kept up to date for members to train.
Any player who is more than one week behind on fees will not be allowed to train until fees are cleared.
